AUSTIN, Texas – No. 3/5 Texas Football used a strong second half and a balanced offensive attack to roll to a 40-14 win over No. 24 Kansas on Saturday at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
The Longhorns racked up 661 yards of total offense and featured an extremely balanced attack with 336 rushing yards and 325 passing yards. The Texas defense was stingy throughout the game, allowing just 260 total yards of offense to the Jayhawks.
Jonathan Brooks had a huge game, rushing for a career-high 217 yards on 20 carries and punching in a pair of touchdowns.
